The state of the mind of the British mobile phone users is such that they can't live without their highly worshipped communication devices for even a day. The answer lies in the large scale exposure of the commercialisation of these communication gadgets in the British shores. The UK has proved itself to be a favourable ground for the promotion and marketing of mobile phones. A survey on the behavioural patterns of mobile phone users in the UK revealed that more than 90% of them fail to get ahead with their day sans their communication devices, while about 10% of the young users confessed to a major addiction to their phones and being out of control in their use. This study clearly indicates a major inclination of the people towards their wireless lifesavers. Naturally speaking, this huge practice of wireless communication in the UK has made a great impact on the global mobile phone industry. The mobile phone industry as a whole is one of the most thriving sectors in the world today, with an immense stake on the arena by big players from all parts of the globe. In fact, mobile phone manufacturers from across various corners of the world have ceremoniously established the UK as a global release venue second to only the US. The sheer magnitude of the masses of mobile phone lovers has been the single biggest reason for such a strategic move, which so to speak has earmarked a positive growth for the industry. The mobile phone market in the UK has come forward with lucrative ways like contract mobile phone deals, sim free handsets or pay as you go offers to market these communication devices among the increasing number of loyalists, which in turn has spread the popularity of the phones to a higher extent.
